Get there faster
Since 2025 San Gil has had direct flights: SATENA links it with Medellín and Bucaramanga, so you can fly straight into the race hub. Check current routes and schedules on the airline's website.
Other options: fly into Palonegro Airport in Bucaramanga (98 km from San Gil on a road that crosses the Chicamocha Canyon) or into Bogotá (about 6 hours by road).
