Time to be part of the race

Volunteers

Experience Chicamocha Canyon Race from the other side of the barrier. Your support is essential for more than 1,200 runners to achieve their dream in the canyon.

Another way to live the race

There is no greater satisfaction than serving others

Here, that means serving the warriors taking on the Chicamocha Canyon: runners who spend anywhere from one to 50 hours on course, without sleep, in high temperatures, on very technical trails and through breathtaking scenery. Behind each of them is a dream they've been building for months.

As a volunteer you are part of the team that keeps the race's logistics running smoothly. Seeing the race from this side is an incredible learning experience and, if you run too, a way to grow as a runner.

Your help is vital to the event's success, and the runners will thank you for it.

What you take home

Living the race from the inside

  • The satisfaction of serving people who are fulfilling a dream in the canyon.
  • Learning: you see from the inside how Colombia's only 100-mile race works.
  • Growing as a runner: you understand the effort, strategy and solidarity that trail running demands.
  • Friends: if you know people who want to join, bring them along. It's always more fun as a crew.
  • The runners' gratitude, as they reach the aid station or the finish after hours of effort.
