  2. Open the registration platform from this page, pick the distance and number of entries, confirm and fill in each runner's details. If you qualify for a discount, enter your code.
  3. Pay with any of the available payment methods.
  4. Check your inbox: you should always receive an automatic confirmation with your ticket and payment details.

In person

At the Ríos y Canoas office, at the entrance to El Gallineral Park, San Gil. Local runners can apply the residents' discount there.

On WhatsApp

Message us at +57 320 833 8139 with your choice and we will send you instructions.

Registration stays open until spots run out, and spots go to the first athletes who complete the whole process. Every runner (including guests, deferred entries, in-person payments and vouchers) must complete the form and the payment by the deadline: it is the only way to secure a spot.

Pairs category

Run the 80K or 100 miles as a pair

Many runners dream of the 80K or the 100 miles but don't want to take them on alone, or simply want a different experience. The pairs category is for them.

  • Who: two people, regardless of age or gender. There is a single pairs category in each distance.
  • Requirements: each runner meets the requirements of their distance and carries their own mandatory gear.
  • Registration: choose the "80K pairs" or "100 miles pairs" ticket and register both people at the same time. If you already registered separately, tick the pairs option in the form and let us know so we can update you.
  • On course: you start and run together the whole way; the team's time is that of the last partner to cross the finish, a checkpoint or a cut-off. You may help each other by pulling, pushing or carrying gear.
  • Awards: medals for the top three pairs, in-kind prizes when available and an individual finisher medal. No prize money and no individual, overall or age-group ranking.

Before you pay

Purchase, change and refund policy

By registering you accept the race rules, the environmental policy and these terms. This is a summary; the exact dates of each window are published in the current edition's policy.
Can I get a refund?

No. Entry fees are not refunded for any reason, even if you cannot take part due to unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure, or if an authority prevents the event from taking place on the scheduled date.

The only exception is a payment reversal for e-commerce purchases under Article 51 of Colombian Law 1480 of 2011: request it within 5 days of purchase by email to info@chicamochacanyonrace.com and soporte@eventrid.com.co, attaching your payment ticket, contact details and request. Payment platform and bank timelines apply.

How do I request a change, transfer or deferral?

Email info@chicamochacanyonrace.com with your name, ID number, mobile number and what you want to do with your spot:

  • Transfer your entry: name, ID, phone, email and distance of the person taking your spot.
  • Change distance: your current and new distance. If you move up to a longer distance, attach proof of payment for the difference.

Your request is only final once you receive our confirmation email. Afterwards, you or the new runner must update details and documents on the runner platform.

What if I defer my spot to next year?
  • You can defer only once, for one year; an already deferred spot can only be transferred within the allowed dates.
  • To activate it you pay the difference with next year's fee at the time of activation. The discounts you bought with do not carry over.
  • Complimentary, raffle and prize entries, flash-sale entries or discounts above 30%, and requests made outside the deadlines cannot be deferred.
Until when can I make changes, and what do they cost?

The policy has three windows before the race:

  1. Until the administrative cut-off (when the team prints bibs, medals and shirts and books insurance and suppliers): changes, transfers and deferrals with no admin fee.
  2. During the following month: free changes with a medical certificate; without one, an admin fee applies (COP 100,000 in 2026).
  3. From the end of the second window until the race: no deferrals. Only transfers or distance changes with the admin fee, and the shirt and bib will be those already assigned to the original runner unless a new one is available.

In every case you pay any fee difference between years or from a shorter to a longer distance.

I couldn't race and made no changes. What are my options?
  • A friend can collect your T-shirt (not the bib or medal) during kit pick-up, with the third-party authorization form and letting us know you won't race.
  • You can ask by email for the shirt to be shipped to an address in Colombia within the policy deadline; you pay the courier on delivery.
  • You can claim, with your ID number, a COP 100,000 discount code for the next edition.
Can someone else run with my bib?

No. Nobody may race in your name, with or without your bib: it puts the runner and the organization at risk. Anyone impersonating a registered runner will be disqualified and banned from future editions, and if the registered runner authorized it, they receive the same sanction.

Where can I read the full policy?

In the purchase, change and refund policy (in Spanish), with Corporación Deporteza details, purchase conditions and every deadline for the edition.

FAQ

Registration questions

Until when can I register?

Until spots run out or until the closing date shown on the registration platform. Spots go to the first athletes who complete the form and the payment.

How do I confirm my registration?

Once your entry is 100% paid you get an automatic email with your ticket and registration and payment details. If it didn't arrive, or if you bought through a group or via WhatsApp, message us at +57 320 833 8139 to confirm it.

How do group registrations work?

Groups of more than 10 people get a discount depending on the registration stage. There are two ways:

Via WhatsApp

  1. Send us the leader's name, the group's name and the approximate number of runners.
  2. We send you a template to record everyone's details.
  3. Pay for the group's entries and send back the completed template.

Benefits of this channel: payment in installments, one free entry for every 20 runners (runner number 21 races free in any distance) and no 5% web platform service charge.

Online Choose the distance, fill in the details, enter the group discount code and pay. The discount applies to a single payment covering at least 10 runners.

Each runner's confirmation email arrives once their entry is 100% paid, and the price is that of the stage in which they complete payment.

I have a spot deferred from last edition. What should I do?

If you deferred within the deadlines and received confirmation, your spot is guaranteed until the new edition's administrative cut-off. To activate it:

  1. Message us at +57 320 833 8139 with your name, ID number and case, and tell us you want to activate your deferred spot.
  2. We check the system and activate your entry or tell you its status.
  3. Pay the fee difference and, if you were told when deferring, the corresponding penalty based on the deferral date.

Do it in time: after the administrative cut-off the team prints bibs and assigns logistics, supplier and insurance lists. A deferred spot cannot be deferred again.

Can minors register?

Yes, in the half marathon and marathon (marathon from age 16), with the minor authorization form signed by their legal guardian and accompanied by an adult who is also registered. The 80K and 100 miles are for runners 18 and over. See the details in the race rules.

When will I know my bib number?

A few weeks before the race, bib number, category and distance lookup opens. Search with your ID number (no dots, commas or spaces), your first name or your last name. Check your details and report any error in time: changes made during kit pick-up do not change your bib or wristband.

I've registered. What's next?

Upload your mandatory documents through the form in the Runner guide, review the technical information for your distance and the race rules, and get your mandatory gear ready: without it you will not receive your kit.
