Checkpoints with authorized crew support

Since 2018, family and friends have been able to support their runners at authorized checkpoints with food, clothing and help mid-race.

Since 2018, Chicamocha Canyon Race has allowed family members or friends to provide their own crew support to runners at authorized checkpoints. In the 2019 edition those checkpoints were Aratoca, Pescadero, Jordán and Barichara, for the 45 km, 100 km and 100-mile distances.

At these points crews can hand runners food, clothing or any other support, always within the race rules.

We know your family is part of every achievement. That is why at Chicamocha Canyon Race everyone is part of the race.

Crew-access checkpoints change with each edition's course: check them in the race rules and the spectator guide.
