San Gil is the tourism hub of Santander and the main headquarters of Chicamocha Canyon Race: it hosts kit pick-up, the technical briefing, starts and finishes, and the buses to the start lines of some distances leave from here.
As the department's tourism capital and Colombia's adventure-sports hub, San Gil and its neighboring towns have the infrastructure, magical places and cultural and outdoor activities to give the whole trail running family an unforgettable experience.
